What Causes Missed Periods With Negative Results For Pregnancy?

I an a female aged 34 and had last menses at early october.since then i didn't had menses. I am a thyroid patient and takinng pills regularly.I am having a 10 year old son and after that had 3 miscarriages. Recently ihave performed home pregnancy test which came negative.
