Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I have read your question fully and understand your concerns.

Even though you used the contraceptive pill for a long time, once you have stopped it, the fertility returns back within a few months. The fact that your periods are regular since January shows that you could be ovulating too. In this scenario, if you have missed a period and had unprotected intercourse around your ovulation time, there is a high chance that you could be pregnant.

On the other hand, delayed period can also occur to a mild hormonal imbalance (happens due to stress).

I would suggest you to wait for another couple of weeks and repeat your urine pregnancy test. If negative, then you could wait for your period to come spontaneously or see a doctor to get some hormonal pills to enable you to get your period.

Of course, if the urine pregnancy test is still negative and if you start experiencing any pregnancy symptoms, then the chances are that you could be pregnant. The only way then to confirm a pregnancy test would be by getting a blood test checked for the pregnancy hormone (beta HCG). This scenario is not common, but can still occur.

I hope this answer has helped you.

Thank you
