What Causes Missing Of Heartbeats?

I have noticed the odd missing heart beat over the years. However, they are more frequent than they used to be. Two years ago I was monitored for 24 hours, which gave 17000 missed beats during that time.
Since then I have had an Aortic valve replaced which had no effect on my problem. They are now quite intrusive at times, enough to make me feel a little light headed. DOB 1934.
Thanks

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that after Heart rhythm disorders are very common after Aortic valve replacement which needs to be monitored closely and should be managed in time to avoid complications.

Kindly get an ECG, Echocardiography done and consult a cardiologist for further evaluation and ask if Holter (ambulatory ECG) is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap
