What Causes Missing Periods?

my menstrual cycle went off on November 8 or 9. I started my first pack of birth control on the 11. I am currently on the third week of my pack,and I'll be starting the placebo (final row) next week. Does this mean my period will come next week or still at its regular time,which would be next week?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Birth control pills doesn’t alter the timing of periods. It act by inhibiting the ovulation only. Your period will come as normal. The length and duration of periods will be normal.
