What Causes Momentary Blindness Due To Camera Flash?

Hello I saw an eye specialist and had tests done as I have had floaters they put drops in my eyes and tested the pressure and all was okay . I had floaters at the time. This was about 6 months ago I took a photo today and the camera flash made me go sort of blind on an part of my eye with dark and very white light on my eye. This lasted for about 5 minutes what is this please

floaters are degenerative body you have to keep watch anthem. if their number increases in number the get it examined by retina surgeon. blinding effect afte flash is normal no treatment is required..
