What Causes Mood Swings And Nausea When On Aviane?
My daughter has been on aviane for a month now. It is making her very nauseous her skin is breaking out and she is extremely moody. How long should we give it before we try something different and can she skip the green pills and start directly on the red ones?
Mood changes and nausea can happen with oral contraception. It is not recommended that she skips the green pills and start directly on the red pills. If she uses the pill she should use the pills in order and only when the pack is over, she should start the new pack as indicated (the first pill, first).
If she is struggling with her mood, she can let her doctor know to probably have a prescription for another oral contraception pill and see if she tolerates a different pill better.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
