What Causes Mood Swings, Tender Breast And Stomach Cramps While Being On Nexplanon?

Hello, I've been on Nexplanon now for 7 months, I've had a period every month until this The beginning of this month October 1st, 2014. I've been emotional, bloated tender breast, cramp pains, as well as hot flashes, nausea. I can't even stand the smell of food without wanting to puke, what should I do? Should I see my obgyn? I took a test over a month ago and it came out negative, but me and my husband have had unprotected sex for 4 months now, and he has released inside of me most of the time. What should I do?

Nexplanon contains a hormone progesterone which is released in small amount in your body. This is the reason of different changes you are experiencing.The most common side effect of NEXPLANON is a change in your normal menstrual bleeding pattern. You may experience longer or shorter bleeding during your periods or have no bleeding at all.
The change in mood as well as different physical symptoms are also due to the similar reasons.
However,I assure you that you will be gradually get habituated with this. Do not think about pregnancy as it is almost 100% effective.Just be assured and take the time to get accustomed with this great implant.
