What Causes Morning Sickness And Green Foam Like Vomiting During Pregnancy?

Hello, My name is Demi and I am a little over 2 months pregnant. I have been suffering from pretty bad morning sickness since my pregnancy started, haven t really been able to keep anything down. Today I started vomiting this blue/green foam like substance and I m not sure if I should concerned.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of morning sickness and green foam like vomiting during pregnancy which seems to be due to all of the changes taking place in your body, such as high levels of hormones in your blood. However, it could be due to an illness or other medical problem. Not all nausea and vomiting is related to pregnancy. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to get up slowly and do not lie down right after eating and eat small meals or snacks often. Eating salty potato chips can help settle the stomach enough to eat a meal. You should try not to skip meals , eat cold food instead of hot, as it may not smell as strongly , sniffing lemons or ginger can sometimes help an upset stomach. If condition doesn't get better in 2-3 days the consult gynecologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with antibiotics .
