What Causes Mouth Dryness, Swollen Throat, Head Heaviness, And Head Pain?
Hi, I was sick with a cold about a week ago. (coughing, runny nose, fever, etc) It went away and I got better..., yet today I woke up with dry mouth, swollen throat/glands and my head feels like it s 20 lbs. If I hold my head down or in a certain position for too long it hurts, my neck and/or shoulder. I barely cough, but when I do it s get phlegm out of the way. I m always thirsty. no fever.
Hello. Welcome to hcm. You must have got sinusitis after a episode of common cold which is common. Common cold causes increased secretions and this will be retained in sinuses if not adequately treated. You must consult your doctor who will put you on anti inflammatory drugs, mucolitics and nasal decongestants. All the best
