What Causes Movable Lump On The Arm Along With Sharp Pain?

several months ago i had either bug bites or a reaction to something in my yard. area affected was my arms and neck. most of the bumps went away with the exception of one on my forearm. It has turned into a small lump, smaller than a pea, bigger than a kernel of rice. It can be moved freely but has a sharp point of pain if touched in the right spot... Do I need to get this looked at?

Hello,

The lump can be related to a skin infection. I recommend to use a hydrogen peroxide to clean the area. I also suggest using an antibiotic cream to cover it such as Bacitracin cream.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
