What Causes Mucus And Blood In Child S Stool?

My daughter is 14 months old and for the past 3 weeks she has had blood and mucous in her stool several times a day. We have taken her to the doctor many times and they tell us to take her off of diary products and to give her Culturelle, we have done so for the past week and nothing seems to be working. The doctors keep putting us off and saying wait until next week and if it doesn t get better come back. They have performed many test and done an OMB and blood work and can t find anything.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
?Celiac disease ?with Dysentery
Possibility of Giardiasis with Entero-Colitis needs to be kept in mind and avoidance of Street and hotel food needs to be curtailed,as the food outing is a fashion now a days with growth and affluence.
Suggested tests for your case-
Hope Stood For Ova/Cyst with microscopic with Food intolerance tests are done by your doctors.
Gluten intolerance is to be kept in mind and diagnosed with ilio-Duodenal biopsy if need by OGD(OesophagoGastro duodenal endoscopy) scopy test from GI endoscopicst and (Gastro-Intestinal) Surgeon.
Congenital Diveritculosis and polyposis needs to be ruled out by CT Abdomen with Barium Enema Contrast Study.
Other causes needs to be ruled out in your case with mucus and blood in your stool.
