What Causes Mucus And Sore Throat?

hi yes I have had mucus in my throat for over 9 days now with a sore throat. for 5 to 6 days every mrning I was coughing up thick green stuff, nothing musch from m y nose.. this has now subsided however I m no coughing with a very dry cough.. even nearly choaked the other day.. this morning I noticed a small amount of mucus in my stool..

Hello,

The green mucus is probably due to an infection. The symptoms seem to be related to an infection of the respiratory tract. I suggest to use a mucolytic such as Mucinex to relieve the mucus. I also suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. Antibiotics may be needed to treat the infection. I also suggest to drink liquids,eat healthy and rest.
