What Causes Mucus In Stool Of Infant?

hello doctor my daughter is 38 days. She is passing foamy, mucous filled stools from past 15 days which was initially yellow in color and now has turned green. doctor suggested bifilac sachet 2 per day for 2 days. is it good to give? please help

it can be the child has contacted amoebiosis due to contaminated water. maintain hydration and give metrogyl suspention 1/4th tea spoon ful twice daily for two days.can go for stool test and consult paediatrician
