What Causes Mucus In Throat After Eating?

I am 48...Every day after eating lunch I start to heavily drain mucus down my throat and become extremely tired to the point that I can not focus and have to lay down. I am in good shape. Not over weight. And run three to four times a week. Only occurs after lunch.

HI,
You must cut down on your intake of fried foods. Excessive consumption of oily foods also lead to the thickening of mucus, thereby affecting the drainage of mucus. Such foods can irritate the lining of the mucus membranes and may cause the membranes to produce more mucus....
