What Causes Multiple Cysts In The Body?

Yes, I have several cysts in my body. One in the back of my head about the size of an eraser head, one on my shine bone, about that same size, one that has recently popped up on the top of my left hand close to my wrist. It is a little irratating this evening. I also have a fatty tumor on my upper thigh. Do you know if this may be something that I need to be concerned about? I also had to have a hystarectomy 5 years ago because of a fibroid tumor. I m only 32! I just don t understand why I am getting all of these, and could it be cancer?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Multiple cysts on body are likely to be due to one disease process.
There is possibility of a skin disorder causing multiple cyts on body.
A clinical assessment of these multiple cysts is required to know the nature of these cysts.
A biopsy of these lesions may also be required to assess the lesion microscopically.
The fatty tumor on the thigh appears to be a lipoma.
Lipoma is a benign tumor composed of fat cells.
However, relevant investigations are required to know the nature of lesion on the thigh.
An aspiration cytology of the lesion will help to know the character of the lesion and thus management.
Fibroid is a common lesion which develops in uterus of healthy women in reproductive age group.
Thus, there is nothing to worry but just get the cysts examined by a skin specialist.
