What Causes Multiple Fibroid In The Uterus?

Dear Doctor, Three months back it was found in ultrasound that i have multiple fibroid in the uterus. When i consulted doctor (army hospital), she suggested me to remove uterus. I was not in a position to hospitalise at that time, due to exams of my daughters. I asked her if there not much problem, i can do it in June (next month). She said it is OK. But now the problem is irregular periods after that. last month two times (first week of Apr, and 3rd week of Apr) occurred. After that period occurred in 1st week of May and flow of blood is too much. Doctor gave me ELDOSPAS PLUS when more flow of blood / back ache. Please suggest can i take this medicine? Geetha

Hello

Your ultrasound findings suggests multiple fibroids in uterus.Fibroids are benign tumour of uterus.
Treatment of fibroid depend upon many things like age,symptoms,family is completed or not etc.
I presume your doctor has advised removal of uterus(hysterectomy)after evaluation.You can wait till your daughter's exams are over.

Your doctor has advised right medicines.These are NSAIDs and relieve symptoms temporarily.You can take medicines safely.
