What Causes Muscle Cramps Around The Rib Cage And Fingers?
Hi. I am a 46 y/o female with Diabetes T1. I ve been experiencing muscle cramps in uncommon area s ie: rib cage, fingers, soles of feet, stomach (upper) I drink water and tea and my last A1C was 7.0 (previous A1C was 6.6) I am curious as to what could be causing this.
Hello I just read through your query and I feel that your cramps in your ribs or soles of feet could most likely be a result of nutritional deficiencies . I suggest you take b complex tablets as diabetes causes a deficiency of b complex vitamins as it is , also I would suggest some sun exposure daily so as to make up for the sunshine vitamin D which usually causes rib pain if deficient. At your age it is preferable to take some calcium supplements as well for strong bones. Hope this proves to be of some benefit to you.
