What Causes Muscle Cramps Around The Rib Cage And Fingers?

Hi. I am a 46 y/o female with Diabetes T1. I ve been experiencing muscle cramps in uncommon area s ie: rib cage, fingers, soles of feet, stomach (upper) I drink water and tea and my last A1C was 7.0 (previous A1C was 6.6) I am curious as to what could be causing this.

Hello I just read through your query and I feel that your cramps in your ribs or soles of feet could most likely be a result of nutritional deficiencies .
I suggest you take b complex tablets as diabetes causes a deficiency of b complex vitamins as it is , also I would suggest some sun exposure daily so as to make up for the sunshine vitamin D which usually causes rib pain if deficient.
At your age it is preferable to take some calcium supplements as well for strong bones.
