What Causes Muscle Cramps In The Fingers And Back?
My husband is having muscle cramps in his fingers and back. He works in a pool service and has been drinking pedialite to keep hydrated he seems shaky and is 47 yrs old. He does drink, but has not for 2 days. Is this from dehydration or withdrawals from alcohol? My email address is YYYY@YYYY . I can t afford to pay, so thanks anyway
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The symptom he presents could be caused by a number of medical conditions. Some of them may include: -Ionic imbalances like low calcium, low magnesium -Vitamin deficiency -Dehydration -Neurologic disorders -Stress I will suggest you try the following: -Rest well -Eat well and healthy with enough green vegetables -Regular fitness exercises -Take enough fluids If the problem persist, you see the Doctor for investigation.Test like a full blood count, blood sugar test, serum electrolytes, ERS, vitamins levels may be useful. The final treatment will be to correct the underlying cause. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
