What Causes Muscle Pain In Vagina?

I am getting these horrible pains on the sides of my vagina at night time, It almost feels like muscles pain? Its not inside of the vagina at all.. I have no clue what this is i have been getting it for years. Its more when i lay on my side.. Like my mucsles are being crushed??? Any ideas
