What Causes Muscle Spasms And Pain In The Middle Of The Back?
Ian being treated for muscle spasms/pain in my middle left back by a chiropractor. My dr. First gave me a 12 day pak steroids and muscle relaxers but that did nothing. I have had 5 treatment so far at chiropractor. Could there be something else wrong since I am still having this pain?
Noted your short history of backache for which you have been to Chiropractor, took 12 day pack of steroids, muscle relaxers but the pain is still present and wants to know the cause of muscle spasm. Very true, there has to be something in the back that is not allowing the muscle spasm to go away in spite of management. The possible causes are as follows: Development of fibrosis that causes pain and reflex spasm. Arthritis of inter-vertebral joints. Faulty posture. RSI that is repetitive stress injury You need a re-evaluation of the problems, MRI of the affected area and further management as per the findings.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
