What Causes Muscle Spasms Below Sternum?

Hi, Im haven muscle spasms right below my sternum somethings 3-4 times a minute. Sometimes at night the minute I go to sleep I get a cold pain/discomfort that makes me nauscious that I cant seem to get rid of... Any clue? This has been going on for 2-3 weeks now...
