What Causes Muscle Spasms In Calf While On Zumba And Pilates?
Thanks! I have been taking both Zumba and Pilates for over a year. After a Wednesday class, my right calf went into spasm during the night and has continued every night until I walk around and do not sit. Also, I walk every morning for 2 miles . What am I doing wrong? the
Hello I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Any physical activity which requires stretching of muscles can cause pain or spasm due to muscle injury. Always remember to carry out physical activity supervised or trained by experts to avoid injuries. The cause of calf muscle pain can vary from calcium deficiency, circulation disturbance to nerve pathology. See a general physician to get examined and take diagnostic test as a harmless looking calf muscle pain can also be dangerous. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
