General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Any physical activity which requires stretching of muscles can cause pain or spasm due to muscle injury. Always remember to carry out physical activity supervised or trained by experts to avoid injuries.
The cause of calf muscle pain can vary from calcium deficiency, circulation disturbance to nerve pathology. See a general physician to get examined and take diagnostic test as a harmless looking calf muscle pain can also be dangerous.
Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
