What Causes Muscle Spasms In The Body?

I have MS. Dx in 1997. Am having muscle spasms that rock my whole body. Right leg spontaneously goes into charliehorse-like cramp with big toe and calf hyper flexed .. Cannot release. Severe pain. Is this MS related? I am currently on an oral prednisone taper.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is the history of Multiple sclerosis then such pain symptoms could be due to that only but more it is related with some functional elements which runs along with the MS in my opinion it can be managed with Duloxetine three times in day just be patience it will be fine soon hope this information helps.
