Weaning Off Clonazepam My 36 year old daughter has been on Klonapin for 5 years. She was trying to wean herself off the medication and ran out of her prescription. She is having lots of anxiety, panic, trembling, shaking, muscle twitches/jerks, to name a few. She is on Medicaid and cannot find a doctor to help her. She has been to the emergency room, and was told she needs to wean off with doctor supervision. He gave her a six day supply and a list of doctors to call. None of these doctors accept Medicaid or new patients including the doctor who originally put her on medication five years ago. The Psychiatrist who last prescribed her medication has dropped her as a patient due to missing appointments which could not be avoided because of other complications in her life. What should she do? Is there any over the counter medication that can help her? Source: HealthTap, https://www.healthtap.com/search/Symptons%20of%20clonazepam%20withdrawls
