What Causes Muscle Twitching When Suffering From Chronic Sinnusitis?
I am 23 years old, and i had chronic sinnusitis for almost 2 years now. I am having very bad muscle twichting and pulsating at my left side of the nose. It s been like this for 2 weeks now, but it always comes and goes away. But today, i had this issue the whole day ever since i woke up and it hasn t stop until then. I am going crazy and i d really apreciate an advice from a doctor right now. Please help me, what do you think it could be???
I understand your concern and as you said about muscle twitching of left side face and nostril, this is a very uncommon feature of sinusitis patient but whenever it develops than one has to investigate involvement of infra-orbital nerve of affected side by doing C.T.Scan of Para nasal sinuses.
So please consult your ENT doctor for examination, investigation and treatment.
Till you are waiting for specialist you may take-
1- Steroids
2- Methicobalamine.
3- Nasal decongestant.
4- Steam inhalation.
I hope above answers your query.
Thanks for consulting HCM.
