What Causes My Left Thumb To Freeze And My Right Foot Sole To Become Numb And Stiff With Shooting Pain While I M Asleep?

Hi..i am 58 yes old female, i would be so thankful if a doctor could tell me why my thumb on the left hand get frozen(stiff) , and the sole on my right feet (where it curbs) also becomes numb and stiff... This happen went am fast asleep, suddenly there a shooting pain and it would jolt me to get up and put my feet in the ground...
