What Causes My Lips To Taste Like Grease?

I don t know why I keep getting a greasy, warm feel on my lips. I feel them and they are dry and normal temp. But when I pick the they taste just like grease. It s the weirdest thing. I try to tell my doctor s about this, but they just look at me like I m crazy. It doesn t happen a of the time. It just happens at random times. I could just be watching tv and bam, my lips just teste like grease and they feel warm on my tongue. And it s not the whole both top and bottom lip. It s always just a small portion in the middle of both lips. Do you have ANY idea what is going on? Please help. It s is getting really enjoying. Please and thank you. Sincerly, Melissa Thomas

Hi,

Are you apply any lip cream? If so trying changing the lip cream and do observe. If your lip is associated with swelling and pain, you must consult your Dermatologist to rule out any infection or inflammation of lips.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
