What Causes Nasal Bleeding Along With Vomiting Up Of Blood?

I have had several nose bleeds the past few weeks. I know my nostril is somewhat dry. It s very hard to get the bleeding to stop. Tonight I had two incidents where I had lots of blood come out of my mouth (as if I was throwing up). I knew not to swallow it. It had several clots in it. Can you give me any help? My doctor was closed by this time.

Understaning your concern. As per your query you have nasal bleeding along with vomiting up of blood . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction , injury to the nose, repeated sneezing , upper respiratory infection and medicine like blood thinners .I would suggest you to not to stop taking medicine by your own , consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like throat swab test , viral culture test , CT scan for sinusitis , nasal endoscopy for nasal polyp . and blood test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , anti allergic along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to gastroenterologist for gastric problem . Apply cold compresse to nose and take anti histamine like bendryl .
