Hello,

Cosart itself is losartan and is used to lower blood pressure. If you have nosebleeds in case of hypertension taking losartan will regulate the blood pressure and stop having more nosebleeds.
Taking blood thinning medications can make the bleeding and bruise from minor trauma worse.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
