What Causes Nasal Block, Congestion And Body Ache After Quitting Smoking?

Hi,I'm 51 yrs,5.6 feet/64kgs and i have been suffering from Sinis for the past 25 yrs and i have under gone 2 operations for the same and i was a smooker too and now i have quit my habit since 45 days but in spite i"m suffering an Nasal block/congestion/body ach and increased temp.The symptoms are worst when in aircon.i"m being treated for Allergy,Kindly advise what precautions do i need to take.

cannot say in yoru particular case BUT, it sure does sound like a sinus infection. These occur primarily as a plain chance COINCDENCE with quitting cigarrettes. Some one with a history of sinus problems in flu season especially is at very high likelihood of sinus infection. Quitting cigarettes will LOWER the risk ... .eventually, but that takes months.
