What Causes Nasal Congestion And Dryness In Tongue Inspite Of Using Flonase?

Am using Flonase for a stuffy nose my nose wasn t running but clogged so I used Flonase to help but it s been 30min and my nose is still clogged I can only breathe through one passage and it very uncomfortable and suddenly it feels like I can t feel my face and my tongue feels weird and dry. Please help because I can t sleep and my eyes are tired

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have either common cold or sinus congestion leading to clogged nose and as you have clogged passage it must be causing discomfort in breathing and it must be a spontaneous process that you must be breathing through mouth leading to dry tongue..
You should take a decongestant nasal spray like Otrivin, nasivion etc or any other decongestant spray available with local pharmacy store and also take oral decongestants like Pseudoephadrine..
Do steam inhalations and use saline nasal sprays..
Drink plenty of water..

In case if still there is no improvement consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
