What Causes Nasal Congestion And Sneezing During Night?

Hi Doctor, i am having nasal congestions during night and followed by sneezing and phlem going from nose in the morning after i wake-up. sneezing gets stoped after i eat break fast and random sneezing a couple of times in the day time. May i know is it astma or sinus issues? I have allergy to dust. The issue doubles if i use my aircon when i sleep. but the day time office aircon is no issue. Thanks. Kris.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hey Kris, your symptoms suggest that you are having allergy from something in your bedroom.
You need to figure out what might be causing your allergy, you should look for things which you recently have bought or carpet you may have changed or even curtains, bedsheets etc.

as far as your symptoms are concerned, I would recommend you using Cetrizine 10mg at bed time for 7 days regular and then as per need basis. And Montelukast 10mg for 6 to 8 weeks.

I find this answer helpful
