What Causes Nasal Congestion, Sore Throat And Headache After Being Exposed To Herbicides?

My father was exposed to herbicides during the vietnam war and is having recurring health problems; nasal congestion, sore throats, headaches, blurry vision, partial facial swelling and numbness, stiff neck and acne-like bumps on his chin and neck area. Was diagnosed with bacterial pharyngitis, hyper tension and diabetes 2. what do these symptoms indicate?
