My husband is 36 years old, diabetic. Last Friday he woke up with a very red irritated eye (clear discharge), Saturday he developed a lot of nasal congestion (he can't breathe through his nose at all) but nose is also running non-stop. He has had body aches, hot and cold flashes but no fever, no appetite to speak of, very fatigued and now both eyes are red and irritated. I'm trying to get him in to the doctor tomorrow but wondering if we can do anything for him in the mean time.
hi, looks like your husband hs conjuncitivitis - eye infection. usually it is viral in nature and does not need any treatment. he should take pain killers for the body aches. regards, dr rajkishori godhi
