What Causes Nasal Drip And Bad Taste In Mouth?

Hi I had a sinus lift and bone graft three weeks ago by a dentist and for the past two weeks I have had a manure taste in my mouth. I also have a constant nasel drip on the same side as the operation . It started as the colour of straw and watery but it thickening up and is more flew coloured now. Any ideas

Hello,
I suspect you have a complication with healing and infection may be present. Please contact your dentist immediately. Have you had a follow up visit? Are you taking any antibiotics? You most likely will need to be placed on an antibiotic. You may take some anti-inflammatory medication to try and reduce discomfort such as Tylenol or Motrin. Practice good daily dental care and be sure to follow all directions provided by your dentist.
A respiratory or sinus condition could affect your healing ability as well. Do you often have seasonal allergies?
