What Causes Nasal Hemorrhage?

I had my nose cauterized and packed for 3 days after hemorrhaging. The packing was removed today and now my nose is still dripping blood in little amounts. I understand this is normal but how long will it last. I had surgery for a deviated septum 3 1/2 weeks ago and a scab came off one of the turbonites in the front of my nose and that is what caused me to hemorrhage.

Hello,

Deviated septum might cause mucosal injury and may lead to bleeding.

Consult an ENT specialist and evaluated.

As of now drugs like tranexamic acid to control bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
