What Causes Nausea, Abdominal Pain And Fatigue In An Elderly Person?
Hi I m 58 years old 5 4 tall and weigh 9 stone. I had bladder cancer 4 years ago, my bladder was removed so I know have a stoma. Recently I have had aching in my lower stomach but this doesn t affect my appetite. I feel very tired but not the normal tiredness more lethargic. This afternoon I had a funny turn, sweating, shaking and nausea this lasted around an hour after which I felt exhausted and went to bed and slept.
Sweating, shaking and nausea may or may not be associated with previous bladder surgery. These symptoms can be due to anxiety. I suggest you consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shailja Puri , Pathologist and Microbiologist
