I am have had nausea without vomiting and discomfort in my upper stomach for about 3 weeks now, with other symptoms of weakness in my arms and shakey feeling in them and my hands. At first I thought I was getting the flu, but I didn t. It kind of went away after the first week...and lingered on and off the second week. The last couple of days its worse. I went to the ER last night cause my husband insisted on taking me when he came home from work. They did blood work, urine, EKG and gave me a shot for nausea and sent me home with a prescription I am waiting for my husband to pick up for me. I am 49, rarely get sick. I take Benezapril 20 mg for high bp which has been excellent. My stomach doesn t burn. I don t have acid reflux. When I get heartburn on occasion, I take tums, and I am fine. Gallbladder disease doesn t run in my family. We all ours. I had an emergency hysterectomy age 37 due to a huge tumor that could have cancerous. It wasn t a fibroid. I also had stage 4 endometriosis. Any thoughts why my stomach is so nauseaus? Thank you.
