What Causes Nausea And Brown Spotting And Negative Pregnancy Test?

My implanon has expired over 4 months ago. My period had become pretty regular I would say, But for the past week I have been feeling weird with nausea imbalances and very sentimental (which im not at all) . My last period was around may 11th had unresponsible sex on the 25th and about a week later I experienced some spotting that changed in color from red to a brownish pink. I took a pregnancy test about 4 days ago with a negative result. But the symptoms are getting worst on daily basis. I dont know whats going on.... Help

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Sometimes, due to the removal of the implanon or its expiry the hormonal supply which has been discontinued due to the implant being removed or having been expired the body responds to a hormonal imbalance that results.

This could be the cause for your symptoms, but only once pregnancy has been ruled out. Please schedule an appointment with your doctor at your earliest convenience.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
