What Causes Nausea And Burning Sensation In The Throat?

This morning soon after I woke up . I started to feel a need to repeatedly swallow. I then sstarted to feel like I was going to throw up. I burped and felt a burning feeling in my throat. I started to throw up and there was a burning feeling in my throat as I was throwing up.

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The burning sensation was due to the vomiting . maybe you did catch a Gi infection which caused this . would advise you to drink a lot of fluids but if it happens repeatedly see a physician and start an antibiotic .
