What Causes Nausea And Chest Pain While On Metoprolol?
I am a 33 yr old female and am a smoker. Here lately, I ve been feeling nauseated after I smoke and am sweating and staying hot. I went to the dr about 4 months ago because I was having chest pains and she put me on metoprolol. That has helped with the chest pains, but I m still feeling nauseated after smoking a cigarette. What could this be a sign of?

It may or may not be related to Metoprolol. You should get it evaluated by going to your clinician. Hypertension increases chances of heart disease so you need an EKG and echo. Take 10 mg Domperidom for nausea.
