What Causes Nausea And Cough After Taking Spironolactone?
Hi, I just took Spironolactone for the first time today and began to feel nauseous which is apparently a common side effect but on my third time vomiting my vomit is now pink and a little throffy. Should I go to an ER or could this simply be a normal reaction to coughing a lot while vomiting the two previous times?

Cough does not seem to be a known side effect of spironolactone. It might cause dry mouth and thirst though. The fact that you are vomiting as well and having pink color with you vomits might be due to coughing but might be the same condition causing both vomiting and the cough like a viral infection.
You may need to see a doctor and have a visit. Meanwhile make sure you drink well and rest.
