Ever since then he has been either, nauseated, can t eat, bouts with diarreah, cramping, excessive gas and belching. He has had lower intestinal pain off and on. One day he s ok, then not. Hello,
Oh my, your poor husband! After a couple course of antibiotics the is an organism in our bowels that can sometimes take over as good bacteria are wiped out with the antibiotics that are treating other problems. I would suggest approaching your doctor to test for c.difficile as an initial step in this investigation. In the interim, probiotics may help to restore his normal gut bacteria. Wishing him the best for a quick recovery!
