What Causes Nausea And Discomfort In The Neck Post Injury?

I was in a car accident on weds afternoon. A few hours later I began feeling lower back pains n chest pains an also lower abdominal pains. So I went to the ER. I was seen by an xray tech and there was no damage done. They released me an told me to take it easy for a few days. We ll it s now thurs (the day after the car accident) and I m now beginning to feel very nauseated with more neck tension and fatigued more so than usual. Is it possible there is something more wrong that wouldn t show on an xray? If so what could it be and should I go back to the ER?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

After trauma, the pain can increase in a plateau to reach a peak a few days after the trauma occurred.

The x ray should detect any damage to the vertebra in the neck but if you had head trauma and are feeling fatigued and nausea, then you may need to be assessed by your doctor.
Imaging may be needed.

I hope this helps
