What Causes Nausea And Dry Heaves While On Duloxetine HCL?

I have been waking every 60 to 90 minutes for about 5 nights now. Started Duloxetine HCL 30mg daily on June 23rd, suppose to increase to 60mg on July 1st. Also have had nausea and dry heaves past 4 mornings. Should I call my physician? YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

Yes you should. Duloxetine is supposed to cause little nausea as side-effect. But it's always better to have a physician look at it and titrate your dose accordingly.
