What Causes Nausea And Extremely Nervous Stomach?

I have occasional anxiety-situational. The last 3 nights I have fallen asleep and woken up a few hours later with nausea and extremely nervous stomach. Feel like I am going to get sick but don t. I have some chest pain and just have a real hard time going back to sleep. Anxiety the next morning so nothing sounds good to eat. As day progresses I feel a bit better. During the day I just don t feel right . Next night I fall asleep only to awaken a few hours later with nausea again. I have anxiety and sleeping meds that I can take prn and have been taking an anxiety pill the last 2 nights. Need to break this vicious cycle and get some sleep.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to anxiety. I suggest using an anxiolytic such as Alprazolam or Xanax. I also suggest to avoid eating to much for dinner and avoid caffeine. I recommend to use a chamomile tea one hour before sleep.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
