What Causes Nausea And Fever After A Fall?

My husband took a serious fall two weeks ago and has been to the ER five times since then....he is STILL complaining of nausea and fever...in addition to his right shoulder needing a rotator cuff surgery ASAP ....I m curious whether the shoulder injury could be the source of his nausea and fever.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per the narration and my clinical experience co relation, the current condition of nausea is due to gastritis following ingestion of pain killer tablets possibly consumed for pain relief of shoulder issue. The fever might be underlying infection or pain related, has to be evaluated further for the diagnosis and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
