What Causes Nausea And Itching In The Body?

yes I have been nauseated for about 6 weeks, I also have itching all over my body that feels like it is coming from inside. I have no rash, SGOT in a week s time went from 251 to 507 and SGPT went from 430 to 740. The doctor ruled out hepatitis and gallbladder problems. I am suppose to have an MRI in a week. I have no energy. I am very concerned but can t seem to find out what is going on.

Hello,

The enzymes of SGOT and SGPT are high means you're having hepatitis. so maybe your doctor ruled out viral causes ( hepatitis A, E or B or C ) of hepatitis.

Still many causes for hepatitis like drugs like NSAIDs, antitubercular, antineoplastic or antibiotics.

Alcoholic hepatitis, obstructive jaundice with hepatitis, Wilson's disease, Hemochromatosis, Abscess. etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your gastroenterologist he will investigate for possible causes and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
