What Causes Nausea And Loss Of Appetite After Drinking Alcohol?
I got EXTREMELY drunk 3 nights ago. I hadn t had any alcohol in months, but I drank so much I was vomitting and don t remember most of the night. It is now the 4th day since I ve drank, and I still feel not all there. Still feeling nauesous and loss of appetite. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??
Likely alcoholism. With vomiting, there is loss of electrolytes (salts) and the tone of nerves and muscles are abnormal until replaced. In addition, alcohol has numerous effects on the brain and these can take a while to go entirely back to baseline. Rehydration fluid can often help with electrolytes. Fruit juices have several of the important ones (like potassium).
