What Causes Nausea And Rise In BP Level While On Spironolactone And Norvasc?

I have been laying on the couch watching TV. I started feeling nauseous and now my heart rate is 132 resting with bp 153/110. Is there anything I should do? I am a 46 yr old female with random uncontrolled bp for for the last year. Dr s have found no underlying cause. Will be completely normal for months and then spike high for 5 or more days. Currently on Norvasc, inderol and spironolactone. Echo, stress test and arterial scan of kidneys normal.

Nausea vomiting are the most common side effects of almost all the drugs.
As you have mentioned about random uncontrolled BP , i would suggest you to get abdominal USG done , for Pheochromocytoma. It is a benign tumor of adrenal gland that usually causes sudden unexplained rise in BP.
